The Crossville community is rich with outdoor recreational activities and annual special events. Home to nine premiere golf courses including Cumberland Cove, Crossville is proud to be the golf capital of Tennessee. Multiple camp grounds and hiking trails also provide lots of opportunity to get outdoors, and appreciate a clean portable toilet! Crossville is also home to some of the states most beautiful lakes, where you can jet ski, swim or just relax on a boat. The Palace Theatre, and Cumberland County Playhouse provide live entertainment rounding out the culture that makes Crossville, Tennessee a great place to live and work.

Putnam County Parks and Rec

Putnam County is home to several parks including Fantasy Park, Baxter City Park and Whitaker Park. It also boasts several sports facilities including Jere Whitson Ballpark, Baxter T-Ball Complex, Mike Clinton Field and Monterey T-Ball and Softball fields providing our community with a great opportunity to get out and play! Many parks and ball fields do not have access to plumbing and greatly benefit from a portable toilet. East Tennessee is proud to help keep the games going for our local sports organizations including the Upper Cumberland United Soccer Club, Youth Football and Putnam County Youth Baseball.

Crossville Flea Market

Since 1977, the Crossville Flea Market has been a destination for treasure hunters and bargain buyers from all over the country. Sitting on 60 acres, the flea market features a diverse array of vintage finds and handmade goods. In home goods, you’ll be able to find hand crafted furniture, lights, rugs and signs. You’ll also be able to find collectable goods such as coins, hot wheels or vintage jewelry. With over 50 vendors, you’ll never know what treasures you will uncover! The Crossville flea market is open year round, is free to visit and has great portable toilets provided by East Tennessee Portables. Its certainly worth a visit!

Catoosa Event Center

The Catoosa Event Center is a family owned venue located on a 165 acre former golf course outside of Jamestown, TN. This expansive location features a natural stone arch, waterfalls and a lake making it a perfect outdoor retreat for camping, swimming and fishing. The Event Center can also host multi-stage festival with up to 5,000 attendees who can stay onsite. Previous festivals include The Sound Haven Festival, Fire Flies Forest, Wine and Swine, and more! East Tennessee Portables prides itself on being the premier expert in special events of any size and is happy to to take part in the festivals and special events that take place at The Catoosa Event center, which is truly a local treasure!

City of Crossville

The City of Crossville provides the community with special events and programming throughout the year. During the summer months Flip Flop Fridays take place in downtown Crossville. This event includes music, food and entertainment for the entire family. A petting zoo is available for kids of all ages as well as an inflatable bounce house. Many local business sponsor the event to make this entertainment possible. Live music helps round out the event. This event takes place every Friday starting in June and is a great way for the community to gather and have fun. Another fun summer event is the Fantastic Firework festival that takes place on the 4th of July and is presented by the City Of Crossville. In addition to fireworks there are concessions and live music and portable toilets provided by East Tennessee Portables!

Catoosa Wildlife Management Area

Catoosa Wildlife Management Area is located on the Upper Cumberland Plateau in Morgan and comprised of 96,000 acres of government protected land that provides the best hunting in East Tennessee. Home to many species of wildlife including deer, wild turkey, grouse and mourning doves. White water rafting and overnight camp sites make Catoosa a place to be enjoyed by all outdoor enthusiasts. In addition, the wildlife areas feature many trails that can be enjoyed by any level of hiker or backpacker. Most notably this includes the Cumberland Trail which is one of Tennessee’s most popular trails, and is an official State Scenic Trail.

Putnam County Fairgrounds

Since 1856 , the Putnam County Fair brings family fun to our community. Complete with Livestock shows, Monster trucks and ATV races, there is truly something for everyone! This 10 day event was voted the #1 county fair in the State of Tennessee in 2021 and continues to bring impressive entertainment and agricultural showcases to the Crossville area. Animals on display include horses and mules, chickens, pigs and cows to name a few. If you’re seeking a little more action, a demolition derby featuring 50 cars provide spectators with all thrills and crashes they could hope for! The fair attracts over 60,000 visitors annually and East Tennessee Portable provides the toilets and services to accommodate the crowds.
